What Interests You?

We know that professional and personal development that helps you in your current role or takes you toward a higher role in the future is important to you. An Individual Development Plan (IDP) is the opportunity for you to outline the steps you need to take to get to your goals. There is no right or wrong way to create an IDP because each individual is unique.

It is up to you to start the conversation with your Department Manager and complete the Contact link so that HR knows you are in the process of creating an IDP. You and your manager will work on completing the IDP Template which will establish the goal you wish to complete, resources you will use to get there, markers to measure your progress along the way, and a clearly defined completion so that we will know when to celebrate!

Refer to the Resources provided in Aileron University or find your own. Be creative and design a plan that works for you, your schedule, and your time commitment.

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
